ADA Compliance Consulting (Hearing Impaired)

What is the ADA
The Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990 is the most far reaching disability rights law ever passed. In its five sections (or Titles), it provides civil rights protection to individuals with disabilities in the areas of employment, state and local government services, public accommodations, and telecommunications.

How can you comply with the  ADA?
Complying with the ADA means taking steps to ensure programs and services are available to all citizens. Of particular importance are access to buildings, services and communications. Up to the passage of  ADA legislation, persons with disabilities were routinely denied access solely because of their disability.

What does the ADA require
The ADA requires that employment opportunities, programs, services and facilities be available to all persons regardless of their disabilities. As part of this process, employers, public facilities and local governments are to undertake a Self Evaluation and then develop and implement a Transition Plan.  SHOWORKS can help your business comply to ADA regulations regarding equal access for hearing impaired persons.
