The Chart shows the 72 MHz channel numbers and letters available from each manufacture. Capital letters are wide band transmission while numbered channels are narrowband.

Notes:
*Telex - uses confusing nonstandard channel designators. The alpha channel designators do not comply to industry standard frequency designation and are also confusingly used to describe narrowband modulation, where all other manufactures use numbers for narrowband channels. This makes it difficult for owners of Telex portable hearing impaired receivers to take them into facilities equipped with transmitters from other manufactures. (ie. Telex channel A is compatible with Comtek channel 5 and Williams channel 4 but is not compatible with channel A form any other manufacture (because these channel As are all wideband channels). Please note that after A the frequencies don't even match.

**Williams - narrowband numbers in parentheses are old channel numbers from the now discontinued T-20 & T-21 transmitters.
